HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI 2010

Raya di Batang Kali (Kampong belah Opah Laila)

Hari Raya Aidilfitri pada 1431H atau 2010M Jumaat 12hb September 2010. Ahli Karim Clan bergerak dari rumah masing-masing ke rumah Kak Fadilah(Adi) di Batang Kali. Sampai di Batang Kali lebih kurang pukul 12.30 tengahari. Mak Long Adi,Pak Long Megat dan semua anak-anak dan cucu ada. Mak Long Adi hidang ketupat, rendang, kueh bombay, karipap dan beberapa kuih lagi. Air minuman adalah air laici. Pukul 1.30 tgh gerak ke rumah MakTeh (Fathiyah) pula di belakang rumah Mak Long Adi. Mak Teh duduk dengan suami dan Tok Uda(Yahya). Masa kita sampai Mak Teh mungkin tengah mandikan Pak Uda, jadi dia tak dengar kita panggil. Oleh itu kita tidak beraya rumah Mak Teh. Mak Adik Rahimah dengan anak-anak pula beraya di Melaka rumah Pak Ngah Patar.Kemudian kita pergi ke Sungai Tua rumah emak Mak Long Juriah.

Semua keletihan sebab malam tadi masak rendang agaknya.

Aiman dan Fadli nampak sungguh segak bagai lelaki Melayu terakhir.

Breaking Fast at Tehran Restaurant Ampang

Day and Date : Saturday, 28th August 2010.

Venue : Tehran Restaurant, Ampang

Time: 7.45 pm

This is the first time in 1431 H or 2010, the Karim Clan had a gathering during Ramadhan. Thanks to the Khatibis. We had a lovely time there and hope to see more of this later. The event began after the Maghrib prayers and we dined until 9.30pm after which we proceeded to Pak Teh's house for Nishad's birthday cake cutting . Everybody was present except Pak Long Khairuddin , Mak Long Juriah , Mak Usu Zuraini, Aiman, Kyon, Iman, Nurul and sweet Wani.

Nishad is Eight

Nishad Khatibi's birthday began with breaking the fast at Tehran Restaurant Ampang on Saturday the 28th of August 2010. All were present except Pak Long Khairuddin and Mak Long Juriah. Both refused to miss the tarawih prayers. Cake cutting ceremony was then held at PakTeh Khairiri's place at Taman Melawati, Ulu Kelang after dinner at the restaurant. Everybody agreed it was a lovely and harmonius event and the Karim Clan hopes to see more of this later. Thank you to the Khatibis for the dinner and the party.

Nishad needs to practise more on cake cutting. Thanks Nishad...the cake was delicious.
